My Mood!

Prelude: This poem is inspired from some recent events. I noticed that the not soo flaggy mood of mine was after all not soo austere too. It had its own swings, its own likes and its own dislikes. Here are a few lines, mixed and discreet, natural but not soo smooth, after all, its just my mood! ;)

Visions of a distance antiquated by age,
Words of wisdom, I sound like a sage

My thoughts are plenty, thick and dark,
My words are sparse, few and far apart

Its bouts of laughter, its periods of loneliness,
Its rounds of frenzy, its ages of sloth

It was a rock, unperturbed in its make,
Who knew it would wane, slowly by age

Aversion to change by this mercenary world,
Its aversive to flesh and flame of their mind's twirls

In it, a sense of comfort, a sense of success,
In it, a sense of hope will always pervade

There's a young heart's dream to have fun and enjoy,
Nice to hear this all, at my age!!!

Visions of a distance antiquated by age,
Words of wisdom, I sound like a sage!!!

Mumbai Terror Attacks!

Why is it that they have soo much hatred!

Why is it that in a country soo numble... where a man who throws a shoe at even the Prime Minister is not killed... appear soo evil to them! KASAB is still alive! and He is going through a proper trial!! and also has a defence lawyer!!!!

Why is it that they have surpassed all limits of cruelty!

Here is a soul stirring documentary of the mumbai terror attacks.

I strongly recommend emotionally sensitive people to keep away from this!

Fearless, inhuman, unreligious, unforgiving! how can a human be like this!!!!

In the following videos is captured the trauma mumbai went through during the days of the attack and the ruthlessness by which the bastards killed people... Watch the following video without fail!

----- Video Missing----- Coming up soon-------

I am at a loss of words right now after watching this! I just had a chill running down my spine...

What is the solution??

War? Dialogue? Healing Relations?

Did their mentality represent the entire pakistan??? or just a radical few???

OR was this just to urge us to go at war with them soo that they could easily topple the democratic government in pakistan!

Questions galore...

I just want to end this with saying that make sure every person AND SURELY EVERY INDIAN u know sees this... Let this fire within us not die down!

Why is it that we are back to life as usual?? There are hundreds of people whose life either ended or permanently changed because of the attack... You can't be OK just b'coz it wasn't U!!

This wasn't just a terrorist attack! It was an attack on the minds of the people in mumbai and all over india or maybe the world... to leave them terrified, paralysed, helpless, scarred and full of mistrust!

May the souls of the people who lost their lives rest in peace!

GP Speaks!!!

Prelude: The blog fever is catching up! After dhvanit now its turn for the chosen one to penn his thoughts down! Since a talented person like GP never does a job twice, it wasn't worthwhile to make a blog for himself. Being his true friend ;) I got this oppurtunity to publish his post!! Without wasting much time here are his not soo noble thoughts...

"Before I take off with this, here’s something that you should know. The one and only one inspiration for me to start this thing, mera dost mera bhaiiiii Dhvanit Zave (its Dave with a Z in it !! lolzz). I really got inspired from his essay about himself or was it about the Hot Hot summer. Neways, I think if he can write something then anyone can, and that anyone turns out to be the Great One “ME”!!.

Well, I’ve been here for almost 2 years now, first time away from family. Made a lot of friends and indeed having a hell of a great time here studying and extracurricular activities, but recently its been all xtra curricular, watching TV series included. If I were to make a resume with these credentials then I guess it would be The best amongst all the rest. I know I’m not a bong but at least can be a shong, requires talent you see lolz. Now I know chotu is gonna put forward a word that she’s also talented; yeah agreed but you still need to learn many things to get close to the Great One.

Now since I have started talking about my friends, here’s one more the crack pot of all kedar. Always in a high mood, always there with a can of oil to heat up the argument and pounces on to any opportunity to give a sarcastic scar. Yooo mamaaa!! One thing about him is he’ll never let you know how sad he is. I’m saying this coz I have seen him and asked him but he would never say anything about it. Neways, but he’s always there to give a helping hand (to his babubhaii) n of course friends. Respect !! I think our favorite hangout place would be the library apart from the MAC, you get to see lot of girls you see.. yeah and also the window in westcrossing 201. Gives a nice view and its getting famous day by day, people are avoiding going from there.

Next is Vineeett, he is like a father figure to all of us (although his figure is not that good, in fact not at all good). His idols in life Niranjan, Rizwan. Now I need not tell you who they are coz every one including the computer science public know them in and out (No, actually its only mantri who is suppose to know them in and out). And just for the records in free time he likes to go through all his scraps on orkut starting from scrap one. But he’s my best friend as we have maximum number of courses in common. Now its turn for the homies.

Vinit (The loli), well he’s a Bi, ohh don’t get your hopes hiii.. what I meant was, he was in electronics and now in Computers. Well, he’s a slow processor but gets faster when he gets some drinks. Again, he’s a good person, no very nice person, no actually a very very nice person (No bets to figure out what m talking about). Dunno for some reason he doesn’t like hydrabadi biryani not even a veggie hehe. He’s the only “kanhaa” amongst us, he makes the girls go round and round. And you must know what goes around comes around. Lola k to majje haii leeee tar tarrrr……..

Paras, dunno wats wrong with him. Who has done all the emotional atyachar on him?? Tries to corner everyone with his senti dialogs which actually never work on me and especially vishal (yeah I’ll get to him later, you gotto save the good one for later). And if we try the same on him he’ll make a stupid face and say please don’t say like that, as if we actually mean it. He maintains the record of every transaction done, how much he earned how much he gave away a particular month, but not like pasha who maintains a excel sheet for that. He wants the best jeans, n he gets it at 20.99$ but then no he wants at 20$.

Vishal, watsuppp pappiii. well he is the man, the dude, the shrewd (couldn’t think of more rhyming adjectives). Has the same attitude as me hia fida to aa c**** nahi to maa c****. He has learnt a lot from me like being a trend setter and not a trend follower. And yeah his fav word “sawaaall”. I guess his favorite one liner would be “maze baba police madhe ahett” but it helps if he’s around when you’re in trouble. He’s the man to be with in sports, clubbing.. purgatory (are nachooooooo, dhanak dhadhan dhann…yeuuu deeeeee).

Finally the Great One, now what to say about myself I don’t wanna brag about things. And if you are smart enough u must have definitely came up to some conclusion about me after reading this. Anyways I tried to a hand at something which I am not at all good at. But it’s a “hot hot summer” and there has to something to waste your time for. Maybe I can also add this one in my resume. Needless to say your comments are welcome coz I know this one is gonna get showered with comments..lol "

Out in the rain!

Out in the rain!

In this damp weather I feel,
To take a note of what thy see...

In this sky of clouds soo full,
wonder what's more mirky I or thee...

In this vocal thunder's roar,
A cute girl's heart went sour...

In this flashy lightning's spree,
just wanna make some tea,
toss some ginger and a bit spice,
make all my folks rejoice...

In this dripping rain, gentle and small,
wanna drench, relive thy senses all...

In this nature's own sweet paradise,
with a real friend down the aisle,
laughing, joking, pushing, pulling ,
having d fun of a lifetime....

In this damp weather I feel,
To take a note of what thy see...

IF!

If only I had a while,
If only I could made them smile,

If only there were no goals
If only they had some souls

If only there was no fear
If only they heard thy peer

If only there were no money
If only they weren't just funny

If only there were less noise
If only they did no choice

If only I had some fame
If only they played no game

If only I were a pair
If only they were bit fair

If only I could utter a 'NO'
If only I could tell them 'GO'

If only I could see us thru,
If only it was me and you

If only I was like them
If only there been no qualms

If only I touched your soul
If only I made you my own

If only the thought was true
If only, you were, of the few

As time flew by and I read you then
Agony struck you were one of them

You were soo sweet and soo cute
you didnt deserve the same old flute

I tried in vain but got no further
You gave reasons, one after another

I felt lost by seeing your face
Should you be in such a place

You had strength to get through them
But made thyself just like them

If only I could show you now
In my eyes, you weren't true now

If only I wasn't me
If only, could we be we

How do I tell, life's no fear
How do i put, life has no gear

Lifes a journey and we leave our steps,
Gain or loss, you gotta be fair

He sees us, and judges us all
he is compassionate, he forgives them all

Lets get together and lets pray
That makes him happy, someones at his bay

Fear no force, fear no foul,
fear only him, he is in us all.

Why India?

Why India!!!!!

First and foremost, I pray for all those killed in terror attack on mubai.

Last two days we saw a tremendous drama unfold over the streets of mumbai. Mumbai which is believed to be the world's most resilient city, in the thrall of a terrifying and seemingly never-ending siege.

Its not just the terror attack which has shaken the minds of the people of mumbai apart but the manner in which the attack was carried out which was alarming!

The terrorists didn't just plant bombs at public places which had been their habit previously but they entered public places heavily armed and remorselessly shot at innocent people and then stayed there to face the consequences. These young people of age no more than 25 yrs had been brain-washed to kill every person they see!

The question which arises here is why in the world did these people want to take innocent lives? what is the point they are trying to make? what in the world does a democratic country like India not offer them?

Comparisons were being made between attack on twin towers in NY and TAJ in mumbai? Is attacking a country a solution to this problem? what about the terrorists camps believed to be present in India itself. what about the naxal problem in various indian states?

It is certain that these things should be dealt the strictest laws and all the people responsible should be hanged to death!

But, is there a permanent solution to this problem?

Should even our goverment approach a bullet for bullet policy?

We have a free press in India which always tries to make most of such events. Should not the PRESS come forward and accept a social obligation to try to pass a message to all the people of this country and beyond, to voice there grudges or complaints which they have against India. Atleast this would show us there side of the problem. What in the world do they think of us and why do they take such devilish steps. why in the world are they killing soo many innocent people and risking the lives of a thousand others?

If you find even a word in this post useful, express yourself and try to spread the message to one and all!
