Prelude: Man made cubes, crosswords, sudokus look often look frail when compared to natures own puzzle 'the face'. A poem unfinished for life...
sifting through the black and white
talking to the brown and light
I watched each face as it unfold
stories that were untold, smiles that it could never hold
when you faced the face you craved
reflecting feelings you wished to shout aloud!
Here's a tale of the face, I had to face, the ones I had to brace
talking to the brown and light
I watched each face as it unfold
stories that were untold, smiles that it could never hold
when you faced the face you craved
reflecting feelings you wished to shout aloud!
Here's a tale of the face, I had to face, the ones I had to brace
A face with an infectious smile
with its own stupid thoughts, actions and likes
living the petty frowns and the trivial joys
It sparkled through rays of affinity
under it laid a sea of only willful ties
with its own stupid thoughts, actions and likes
living the petty frowns and the trivial joys
It sparkled through rays of affinity
under it laid a sea of only willful ties
A face often measured and mild
face of a person who probably never tried(living life)
it was cryptic and it was cold,
it was easy to let go and tough to hold
the face never asked, the face never told
it enjoyed things on its way
thinking less and smiling in its imperfect way
A face who looked almost always right
it was hard to contradict, but hardly seemed right
dragging it out of limelight, shedding its color, holding it tight
arresting its changes, unraveling it with all your might
At every point, watching it alter its side
making you think, studying it, was it ever worthwhile?
I watched each face as it unfold
stories that were untold, smiles that it could never hold
