Just another day!

it was just another day in march
when you feel hot in the sun and cold in the shade

it was another day in march
when the spring break ends brings us back to college
still hung over new orleans spectacles
or tanned in our south padre retreats

it was just another day in march
when the flowers bloom full and the pollens go wild
our allergies keeping us home
tucked under blankets with netflix all day and night

it's just another day in march
we are running our hearts out
put on our gloves and play till we drop
hike, camp and trek until the dog days die
